    This was the very first Willow Tree I had ever seen. It seemed to capture the very essence of the love of a mother and son. It was refreshing because I usually see the mother/daughter relationship celebrated. I quickly snatched it up, and the next thing I see is the The Willow Tree “Heart of Gold,” another little boy that looked a lot like my other son. And a year later I have purchased over 32 Willow Trees and stil going strong. I’ve heard some people say that they think it’s weird that Willow Trees have no faces. I like it that way. They capture an attitude, a posture that reminds you of someone you know. And before you know it, it becomes your most prized possession.

    Absolutely wonderful. The companionship, trust and love displayed between mother and child is represented. My son gave this item as a gift for his mother on Christmas and needless to say she was overwhelmed. Craftsmanship is outstanding. We would highly recommend this item as well as the other items from this company’s (Willow Tree) collection.
