For this price, I assumed it would be a thin rug, and a little coarse. This rug is amazingly soft and thicker than expected. With the black border it is a bit dark. But the kids love it – they use all the space between “stones” to drive their cars on the road and make towns for the people to live. I bought it to make the living room less kid – and the kids still found a way to play. Great buy.

The rug looks darker than the picture shows, and is kind of depressing to look at. There is no beige color at all, all colors appear mixed with mud. I’m not too happy with it.

I bought this for my dorm room for the sole purpose of covering the bare floor. Fortunately, this rug is softer than I imagined it would be. I was expecting something that felt like stiff commercial carpeting, but I was pleasantly surprised. The colors in the picture look somewhat different from the actual thing, but it is not much of a problem. For the price, it was definitely a good purchase.
