I bought two boxes last Fall for starting fires in my fireplace insert. They proved to be easier to light, smaller in size, and much less expensive than other name-brand products I’ve tried. Just one small square is very effective in starting a wood fire. Highly recommended.

The best. Some we’ve tried are so large, you have to break them apart cause you don’t need so much. Then, they are soaked in something that gets on your fingers and smells bad. It’s like tar. These are small, dry, and light quickly.

Have tried many differnt fire starters and this one works the best of all. It starts easily, burns great and gets my fire started in no time. This is important as I heat with wood.
